Who We Staff

Option 1 Home Health Care takes the time to carefully screen each potential candidate for employment. All employees have passed an extensive criminal background check, have a minimum of 1 year experience and have 2 verified sources of recommendation. Caregivers are placed with clients based on the client’s needs matched with the caregiver’s specific skills and area of expertise, caregiver availability is also a factor and Option 1 takes the time to ensure there is a good match between caregiver and client.

Option1 Home Health Care Employs The Following:


Home Health Care nurses provide both private duty services and skilled visits. Nurses provide a variety of services including skilled care, medication administration, wound care, coordination of services and supervision of paraprofessional staff.

Home Health Aides:

Home Health Aides assist clients with their basic medical needs. They provide assistance with simple personal hygiene, feeding, dressing and perform other health related tasks as required by each individual client.

Certified Nurse Assistants:

CNA’s provide assistance with more complex medical needs including catheter care, medication assistance/reminders, personal hygiene, feeding, dressing and other health related tasks depending on client needs. CNA’s complete specialized training approved by the State of Michigan and are certified with the Michigan Department of Community Health.


Homemakers are responsible for performing household activities to maintain an environment which is safe, clean and promotes the physical and emotional well- being of the client. Homemaker services include but are not limited to: assistance with meal preparation, transportation/errand services, shopping, and light housekeeping.


Housekeepers are individuals who provided assigned housekeeping duties to promote a clean, healthy environment. Housekeeping include but are not limited to: shopping cleaning and laundry.
